MICA: Measuring Interaction and Communication in Autism

MICA is looking for children ages 4-6 with autism to participate in a short research study over Zoom.

Doctoral candidate Olivia Boorom is conducting a research study to measure social interaction in children with autism who don't use spoken language as their primary mode of communication.

We are looking for young children, ages 4-6 years old, with an autism diagnosis to participate in play-based assessments in the comfort of their own home via Zoom.   • Olivia is well versed in research having previously worked as a clinical fellow and SLP in the Vanderbilt Music Cognition Lab, assisting with projects studying the relationship between music, rhythm, and language in children with autism.
